We are very excited to open the Bay Area’s only Sport Chalet at Eastridge. The grand opening celebration and sale took place from Friday, November 10^th through Sunday, November 12^th. Grand opening activities included the Gale Webb Extreme Sports & Air Show, a fishing seminar with celebrated author, radio and television host Ronnie Kovach, sports demonstrations and free giveaways.

On Friday morning at 9:30a.m., members of the San Jose City Council, Chamber of Commerce and other guests, along with the Sport Chalet executive team, kick off the festivities with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony. A local High School band performed at the opening ceremony.

Sport Chalet hosted exciting parking lot activities, including a free Rock Climbing Wall and Bungee Trampoline, vendor booths showcasing new products and a radio station remote. Customers entered to win a GRAND PRIZE Columbia Hiking Package, including a pair of sleeping bags, a tent, men’s and women’s apparel, shoes and hats.

Sport Chalet is located at the new Retail Streetscape, near Barnes & Noble and Bed Bath & Beyond.
