The EPA named JCPenney the 2007 Energy Star Partner of the Year for its efforts to reduce energy consumption at its stores.

Since 2001, JCpenney has worked to reduce energy consumption in its stores.  So far, 4 stores in Washington State has received the Energy Star and the company is working on reaching for the Energy Star all of its stores.  To read more about JCPenney’s accomplishment, click here to read an article from Shopping Centers Today.

“What can I do” seems to be a great starting point for anyone to ask in attempt to tread lighter on the earth.
